Nah, that's okay. Perfect actually.

Try setting your Offset Map Quality option (under Options -> Graphics) to zero before exiting the building.

That's unfortunate. I fear I have run out of solutions for you. I guess wait for the eventual bug fix update to arrive (or if you haven't already, defeat the wild Pokémon in the Team Rocket Hideout's tile floor thingy).
