Not a bug odd egg shiny rate

So I have saved exactly one step before my odd egg hatched. I want a shiny tyrouge, but no matter how many times I try, it is always the same. Please help. I heard earlier that the shiny rate for the odd egg is 12%, and I know that's about 1/1. It is simply not working. Please help.

Yes it is a tyrouge.

You can get one still, but not from the Odd Egg, and at standard shiny encounter rates.

The way is to save the game before you get the egg and then hatch it, if it's not a shiny, you reload the game and take the egg again, but it's too late for you
