So I can't use the move "ride" outside of battle. What do I do?

You need to select the move "Ride" from a Pokémon in your Party screen while you're not inside a building.

Caves should be Rideable...

I thought it to an onix I caught, and I have already got the Whitny badge, so I should be able to ride it.

how would you do it?
We have our methods, just wait for one of the people I have tagged to see this post (I'd do so myself, but my method is currently bugging out right now, preventing me from using it).

So when you tag them they see it?
It alerts them that they get tagged, so they will likely see it.

Considering it's Ride, you should be able to continue playing (until they tell you to do so otherwise).
