If you were to implement battle animations what would the animation format be in? Like would they be GIF files?

Once the 3DS files can be ripped from the cartridge, I wonder how hard importing the Pokemon X and Y models and animation would be, if possible.

if only it had the dragon type in that list that's what i would have checked but sadly no starter pokes are dragon types :/

If I had the time and the right software I would have no problem animating attacks its just I lack the animating software and the time
