Server Connection Issue

I am hosting this server from my laptop. I am connected on Hamachi to two other computers in my house. Another laptop and a PC. The laptop was able to connect to my server through Hamachi but the PC could not connect. It said "could not reach server" I've been working on this for a couple days now and can't find a solution.

Try port forwarding instead of Hamachi.

Why do you want to use Hamachi if you are in the same house? Isn't it easier to connect to the same LAN?

well I do have another person who frequently goes on the server with me and he is in a different house. So if its possible I would prefer it to be through Hamachi although if I have to do it another way im open to doing that for now. I dont know how to connect to the same LAN either. Is Port Forwarding a difficult process?

If someone who won't be able to connect to your LAN wants to play on the server, you basically have two options:
Create a virtual private network (VPN), which is what Hamachi is doing: It basically emulates a LAN that is in reality a connection over a Hamachi Server.
Or: Forward the port you host the server on. This enables connection from outside your LAN to access the data sent from a port or send data to a port. This process can be done in the router settings (so you have to open your router's settings in your browser by accessing its IP address).

Well I am doing the first option. And I know how to get to the router settings, but configuring the settings to allow port forwarding might be an issue. Is it something I should just look up on youtube or something?

Most ISPs (or router companies, if those exist) should have an online manual that explains that (at least that was true for both routers that I used).
You also have to look out if you have a router that has a modem inside or an external modem. You might need to restart both once you are done setting the port forwards.
And for the Hamachi problem: Did your friends enter the Hamachi network IP? Also, all players that are connected to the same LAN can also play by using your computer's IP address. So only the players outside of that LAN need the Hamachi address. This might be interesting because as I said, the Hamachi connection doesn't run peer to peer but over another server, so it might be slow.

Okay and yeah I manually entered the Hamachi IP into the laptop and PC and tried several things multiple times. I will try my computers IP on the PC and see if that will make a difference. Although if that was the problem I don't see why one would connect and not the other.

It's certainly not a game issue though.
Might be a firewall problem?

Yeah not a game issue. How would I check if it was a firewall issue? Nothing pops up when we try to play and If the official pokemon 3D server was up im sure he would be able to connect but I havent tried before. Port forwarding seems like it might be the only option at this point. And by the way connecting using my IP on the PC didn't work.

Which PC are you talking about now?
The one that is in your house?

Yes. The PC is the only one that isnt connecting. I'm using my laptop and we have another laptop which is connecting fine.

So, are you connected to the same LAN then?
Try pinging the server computer with that computer and see if that works.

To find my IP i know i can search through my computer for it but I find it using this site http://www.whatsmyip.org/ Is this the right IP you are talking about. If so then it is shared between my PC and laptop. Is this the right IP to be using?

That IP is not the IP you are using to connect to your LAN.
To get that, open cmd.exe and run the command "ipconfig/all".
This will list all your network adapters. Search for that one that is connected to your router. It will show you the IPv4 Address you are searching for. It will most likely start with "192.168"
