Bug Catcher
Some bugs me and my friend discovered in 0.21:

1. Gastly's Night Shade does damage equal to the amount of HP Gastly has. In the original games, the damage is equal to the users lvl. Idk if this change was on purpose or not, but it makes Gastly really overpowered (Bugsy wasn't a challenge at all since night shade almost 1-shotted every pokémon of hers)

2. When fighting the fisherman with lots of magikarp on the route before Dark Cave, whenever my friend sent out his Gastly and used "Tackle", the game crashed.

3. In coop, you can't see the others player name/fighting or talking bubble anymore:

4. When my friend was in combat with a while pokémon, besides not having the speech bubble, his character was automaticly looking at where I am (like NPC's)

5. Same as 3 and 4, even when he's battling trainers:

6. Opening in fence at azalea:

7. Some trainers don't make me face them when they spot me:

8. Zubat's supersonic put my pokémon to sleep (this is probably already reported, I suppose) instead of confusion. Weird thing is, that my pokémon usually take a long time to get out of "Sleep" (like 4-5 turns). My friend noticed this as well. Which calculation is used? (I see that in Gen 1 sleep takes 1-7 turns, in Gen 5 it's only 1-3...)

night shade's power goes up with level, not damage, the damage is derived from the power. so you get the power + your stats + STAB

It is supposed to be if you have a lvl 20 Gastly and it uses night shade you do 20 damage
if Nillzz is making this change on purpose that's cool but it is different from the main games

no, i've got a soulsilver playthrough happening on a legit cart and not on an emulator and night shade deffo did more damage than my level and was affected by modifiers like types

hmmm actually maybe you're damage scales with level, not power with level, but gets STAB, so the damage won't always match your hp

sorry, this is what happens when you hide numbers from the player, but it still gets STAB, s your gastly is going to do hp * 1.5 damage :p

Same-type attack bonus, commonly abbreviated as STAB, is a 50% boost to the power of an attack when the attack is the same type as one of the types of the Pokémon using the attack. This results in a 50% increase in damage (100% if the Pokémon has the Adaptability Ability.)

From what I have experienced it should do damage equal to level and only that with no stab or type multipliers or damage reducers or anything

some databases say they do and others say they dont :\ this is so stupid, why doesn't the game give you absolute damage numbers? i hate guessing this shit off health bars :\ it'd be so easy to test, my ds is right in front of me, i could move tutor it back to my gengar
