the files say there are 499 (including legendary and unobtainable Pokemon)

ya I was told someone has a sylveon tho and I want it lol and ya but I would like to know obtainable amount Im count like 475 give or take a few.

someone.....that means like 1 in 50000? what would he possibly need from you in exchange for the sylveon?

I used to do daily competitions
and whenever an update happened I would do a triple competition(three of the same prize) hippo and two others won sylveons
and then I gave a fourth to the guy who made the sprites(Anvil)

Honestly I have no idea how many pokemon are available
I havent kept track of them
I might go through and count eventually?
and no idea of when or how sylveon will be available

These pokemon are the ones you can't currently obtain (even through trading):
Articuno/Zapdos/Moltress/Mewtwo/Mew/Suicune/Celebi/Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza/Sylveon/Probopass/Relicanth/Dusknoir
so....499-14=485 Pokemon that you can currently obtain in P3D.

There are other Pokemon that can not be "Caught" in the game and can only be obtained Via "Trading" like the first 5 generation starters.

You are counting the other gen starters and fossil pokemon too I assume?
those can only be gotten because of contests similar to the sylveon one except I didnt prevent those pokemon from breeding

these are swarming the trades and the GTS these days, that's why i didn't include them, this includes deerling as well.

Edit: i also got the numbers from the data files so i'm like 99.3% sure of the numbers
