As the game does not officially support Macs, I don't think we can give you a solution to this problem.

Well sorry then, I don't have a windows 8.1 computer, so I wouldn't know this was possible.

I'm Windows 7 and have had the same problem pop up in the route after New Bark Town

Yes, it only appears to occur on Route 29 as far as my knowledge. I'll change the title to suit it.
