Game Wont Start

I've seen this question posed several times on the forums, both on here and in other forums, and i've tried just about every suggestion there is on how to solve it but to no avail. Whenever I install the game, install the update, and select Start Game, it just doesn't start. The mouse will show a loading animation as if it's about to start, then it'll stop and nothing will happen. I have the latest .NET and XNA, i've tried running as admin, i've tried compatibility, i've tried all different versions and it won't start up. Basically up until I hit "start game" everything works fine. I'm not an expert on computers either, so I can't think up any other solutions other than the ones provided. Help?

does it give you a crash log? any error messages?

No error messages. It just starts loading then stops without any errors or warning boxes or anything, as if I never even started it.

Did you check your Pokemon-folder to see if you recieved a log.txt?

I don't see anything labeled log.txt in the folder. I have

As much as i hate to sound like a broken record and despite u said u have the latest .NET and XNA try and install these (again).

We have had issues where people claimed to have the latest version of .NET and XNA installed and after downloading and installing those it "suddenly" worked

I reinstalled both programs, and then to be sure, i redownloaded and reinstalled both programs again. Same results as before. It may just be the files i've downloaded, possibly, but I don't know. Can anybody link me to a working download of the game so I can see if it works then? I'd really appreciate it.

It might be a problem with Windows Media Player. See if you can play around with it a bit, disable and enable etc. Or check Windows Update if there are any new updates.

Tried that, no new updates, didn't change anything.

if its not producing a log file at all the game cant start XNA, if it cant start XNA you are probably missing a runtime. it produces logs if our code causes an exception
