Duplicate battle scene is always this cave

UPDATE: It happens when I turn battle animations on :confused:
(version 0.46 sorry forgot to put it in title)
I have just started the game and all my battles seem to take place in this cave, what do I need to do?
Also I don't think the difficulty setting is working. Also I don't have battle style on 'set' mode I have it on 'shift' but it is playing like it's on 'set' mode. Also I added a trainer to my phonebook and he called me a minute later asking to battle- he had a level 27 butterfree this time, I haven't beaten the first gym yet!
Another bug is you can see what a pokemon's health will be for like a split second before it starts depleting. I keep updating the bugs I find in this post to avoid posting loads of topics.

I have tried that but doesn't seem to have made a difference. Is no-one else having these problems? If I re-download once more can I use the same save?

My game just crashed too, report is attached. I don't understand why it isn't working properly, every time I fight the rival after 2nd gym it crashes at start of battle.

Well I used 0.45 and I finished the rival battle so now I'm going to go back to 0.46, does this bug only happen with the rival, are there any other crashes I should be aware of so I can save at the right time?

I don't understand why this latest version is not as good. The battle options aren't working, the difficulty isn't working and the animated pokemon during battles look way more pixelated than older versions. Could someone please shed some light into the reasoning?

So you are using an Offline save?

New battle system is the reasoning behind that.

Actually it seems to be saving online now that I'm back on 0.46. So the new battle system has just been implemented which means I can't change the difficulty, battle style, animations or models? I just want to know it isn't just me getting these issues and I have done something wrong.

Difficulty should be changeable. It alters levels of Pokémon.
