Do you happen to have any Content Packs currently enabled when you challenged Elite Four Will?
If not, than give it some time to load the fight, if it lasts more than a minute, then something is probably wrong.

I disable all my content packs and was playing online.
It freeze and worst case is I can't quit the game..... gratz, now I have to use task manager to do that.

Sort of an edit:
It seem to fix itself and does not happen anymore.

I will call this not a bug and move on but if it comes back make a new thread
