Let me add-on to those post about the purple eye.
If you look at the google image "ivysaur" there are red version and purple version of their eyes.
I guess that purple eye is not an issue after all
From my old version screenshot, http://pokemon3d.net/forum/screenshots/156/view it is the same.If you want diff coloring, well maybe we can insert them as a custom ivysaur for those who prefer it that way.
Or just do both and then let people decide by comparing?

I am uploading an update pretty soon.
I have upgraded my installer and updater to also allow auto apply model pack without a single press of the poké ball button in the main menu of P3D. (It is very convenience to those who just lazy to activate yourself.) This will also save the trouble of new player who do not understand how to activate and prioritize the model pack
This will mean that there are a new set of instruction where to search your folder in order for it to place correctly.
=> From Locating Content Pack folder to Pokemon folder.

Hmm... I did not test this in window 8 but I guess it should still work on window 8 if there are nothing blocking the installation process.
+ Noted. Smartscreen causes the installer (which does nothing to the app) to be blocked.
I only know that P3D gamefiles are blocked by AVG anti virus because it keep detact some virus but I know there isnt any real virus there.

Next update ( v0.46.1.## ) is delay till further notice. For the mean time, just download the files from this thread and place them inside their respective folder for it to work.
I am not able to release it on time as I am too busy with my other important things. It will slow me down.
* Just a note, after I release it, I will make a new post. You will need to remove the old version model pack by uninstalling them from control panel for it to remove certain things which are not needed anymore.
As a result of changing the core installer, there will be a music playing
