"Cannot Reach server" is the server down? or is something on my end?

• I played on the official server with no problem for a while yesterday, and last night. Today, its about 12-1pm (Central time, US) and now i cannot connect to the official server at karp.pokemon3d.net:15124. The game is updated and everything, i hope im not the only one with this issue.
• any help is really appreciated!

The official server is only up on certain occations such as testing out new functions of servers & on updates to make sure the new servers work correctly. If you want to play on a server, there are other private servers.

ah, i had no idea, im sure as you can see, im very new lol. thank you for that info.
Do you know of any popular servers that are available? or where I might be able to find a list of servers to play on?

I have one last one, how exactly do i connect, do i just enter the IP address and call it good? because when i do that, it instantly tells me "cannot reach server" so im a little stumped on that, or do i need something extra to play on other servers.

You just enter the IP and name it anything you want
