I'm not sure if this is a bug but my Cyndaquil has the ablility Overgrow. Overgrow is an ability that ups grass type moves so why does Cyndaquil have it?

yeah overgrow was put in to test the ability system and it acts as a placeholder for all pokemon right now
when the abilities get fixed (and no, i dont have an ETA on that) its unlikely it will fix up your current pokemon but you can easily set them yourself once the other abilities are added in.
