View Problems

Hello there,
I'm having problems looking around and moving the camera in-game.
When I start up a new game, my view looks straight up and starts spinning quickly. I can move the mouse downward to look down, but it automatically just looks up again. All the other controls and moving around work great, but I can't really play the game when all I see is the ceiling.
Interestingly, I had the exact same problem with a program some may know of called "mcedit." Other first person games work fine, though.

Really looking forward to playing... Anyone know how to solve this or why it's happening?

Thanks,
~Cornsauce ;)

This is likely more of a keyboard/mouse issue on your side than an actual game issue.

I would see if plugging in another mouse/using a controller will work. Occasionally, my mouse would freak out, so I just unplug it and play the game with my ps3 controller. (However, it has never went weird for me before with MCEdit, so it very much likely is a problem with your mouse)

Update
I don't think it's a problem with my mouse; I tried two other mice (mouses, mice? lol). One was another Dell mouse and the other was a Logitech. Also, I don't have a controller to play with. I've looked around a bit, playing with some mouse settings both in and out of game. I even tried running Pokémon 3D in compatibility mode with Windows 7 and Vista.

Oddly, on my older computer (Windows Vista), I used this same mouse for both mcedit and Pokémon 3D, and it worked fine.

Like I said, other first-person games work fine, so I'm not sure what the cause could be. Thanks for the suggestions though!
