Same-type attack bonus for "Pound"

For the moves that have not been implemented, pound is being used instead. What I'd like to know is if a normal type pokemon is using "pound" in place of a move not implemented, will it receive the same type attack bonus?

nope, i guess
But then whats the point of doing so, it is a 40 power attack, you shouldnt use those, just go for other alternative moves (similar moves)

This is stated in the FAQ, and is used in replacement for moves not implemented. This type of pound is kinda special since it can harm Ghost Types.

I think thats not what he meant, he said that he wanted the STAB bonus for pound moves, wich is not that much necessary...

Ah, my bad, didn't read it thoroughly (despite it being in the stupid title xD).

If I had to guess I wouldn't think so due to that in itself it is a bugged move.
