Solved chat not showing up

i'm having a problem with the chat recently, up untill a few weeks ago i could see a few lines from the chat in the lower left corner of the game. but suddenly that dissapeared, i can still open the chat like normal but i want to be able to folow the chat while playing the game.
anyone know a way to change that?

You probably disabled the interface, press F1 to make it show again.

can't remember i ever pressed f1 while playing but it did the trick so thanks for the quick respons
