You can add (similiar to Skins) melodies for your character, which can be heard by other player when battling against you.
For filesize I would suggest .mid-files and a hard cap at ~75kb. Great idea, huh?

This sounds promising, but we'll obviously need rules preventing inappropriate content (similar to the skins).

However, it is a lot harder to create a custom melody than to create a custom skin, so that could radically limit its potential.

Hard perhaps, but not impossible. It would pretty much work as with the skins, you upload it & such, but it will indeed require a lot of code for it to work.

Music is a whole different story than images.
Not in the coding kind of way, but if you upload any music files to our servers, your would transfer the rights and stuff to us. The problem is, that if you don't own the music track or parts of the music, uploading it and keeping it is illegal, and we would be responsible. So as great as the feature might sound, even without considering the coding aspects, it is near to impossible to do.

You mean like.. The theme song/battle music like what your rival has?

Hmm, idea sounds promising and fun, but like Nillz pointed out, the song players upload has to be 100% their original work, or atleast the copyight holders of those songs give permission for you to use.
