How many Players?

Just a question but how many players are actually playing this game. And out of those people how many are using online functions. I'm just a little worried because when I do GTS or wonder trading, I always trade with the same three people over and over again. Do you think it will be like this when battling online becomes available?

Many players play this game.

I typically see at least 20 or so on servers, and many more don't use the servers (most likely because they don't know the IPs of the servers).

The game is in a very early stage . Without doubt it will drow more and more ppl as it is progressing . PvP is half of the game and I believe that soon there be alot people around . How much are there its hard to say . I my self ended up trading with the same ppl few times but its nothing to worry about . PvP is coming and so are the crowds !!

usually I trade like two pokemon on wonder trade in hour or two intervals, it brings higher chances of finding different players at different times. sometimes its worth it to just wait. I got litwic and bagon not even 30 mins ago.

Your right. I guess I'm a little worried that no one will look at this game, because of the official pokemon games. In my opinion this game is a lot better than X and Y. The idea of having an massive server styled game with multiple regions available and all of the pokemon available to catch, seems like a necessary evolution to the pokemon franchise, like the new Elder Scrolls online game. But I guess it wouldn't make as much money for them if they decided to put every single games content into one game. And it would probably have to be a membership game. Hopefully more people will come to play this game, the more the merrier!!!

No place for worries . The game reached about 20 k members in 3-4 months . Its only natural that some people wait to see more complete product . I my self am not playing that regularly . I started playing more actively when the Grottos came out. And now when PVP is here and more moves are getting added I will be in the game probably every day . About the nintendo games and this one - paid or free I will still choose this over the nintendo ones . See you around in P3D servers !
