Save and quit, then resume the game. The trainers should reset positions.

yeah he reset with the switches and traped me between two barrels him self and right wall of the gym.
i can not move at all i just want to be moved away or be able to you an escape rope.
Hmm, you may need to PM a Kolben Staff member your GameJolt credentials so they can move you out of there.

I can see where this is going
My computer tends to corrupt saves(My own included) so I dont want to risk it...
If I told you a file to find on your computer how easily would you be able to find it?
I think the best way to go about this is to have you edit the map and remove a trash can temporarily so you can get out...

/Pokemon/Maps/gyms/vermilion_gym.dat
open it in notepad
Line 40:
Delete the first character ("{")
Save the file
reload your save from the menu
reposition your character
save exit and replace the ("{") in the file
Also I have made it so that this wont happen starting next version
