What button to press to stop evolution?

I need some help, not sure which button on the keyboard do I press to stop a pokemon from evolving

I am not sure if it can even be stopped as of version [.21]. My guess would be the 'e' key though since space bar seems to correspond with the a button on a Gameboy and the 'e' key seems to correspond with the b and start buttons on a Gameboy.
