Offline save wouldn't start due to missing RoamingPokemon.dat

I updated from the previous version to the current(0.43.3) and I'm unable to load my save file from the previous version.im not sure what the problem could be but any help that could be given would be appreciated

Edit: After various attempts to fix the problem, I decided to try and make a new game to see where it had saved. It ended up in the same folder as the old one but the old file wouldn't load...so I compared the two and noticed there was a missing file from the old one, I'm assuming the update didn't put the file in correctly as it should have. I resolved it by copying RoamingPokemon.dat from a newly created save folder into my old save folder and it worked rather nicely. I'd like to keep this thread in the Bugs forum in case other people encounter this issue.

ok so I answered my own question and I don't know if anyone else would have this problem to....but ill leave it up in case...so when I downloaded the recent update (0.43.3 also note I was only one update behind as I like to keep this game up to date) for some reason my previous save file wouldn't read. I tried everything I could think of running it In admin...relocating the save file to the main directory.....instead if in the pokemon file..... re downloading the update....Nothing. SOO I created a new save file sure enough it saved to the same folder and as my old one...so I decided to take a look and play spot the difference....my old save folder was missing one file which I guess is crucial to load its called RoamingPokemon.dat so I copied and pasted the file over to my older save and tried that and now my old file reads just fine so far. (if there is any known bug with this please let me know) If not im going to leave this up incase anyone else might have the same problems as I did

This could very well solve my save problem. Well done!

Since this isn't really a Server or Launcher bug, could this be moved to the general Bug forum?

uhhhh honestly if I knew how to move it besides deleting and reposting I would can u give a hint or a hand on how to do so...oh and lemme know if it helps

ahhh so did it help you out then? because after I did that my old save file has now operated like it did before

I had 25 save files. I can only see 4 right now, I thought it may tie in with this bug. I'll try it when I get home (4 hours).

I hope to hear from your soon. In the meantime, I'll be playing my now functional save. I hope this helps anyone that also encounters this issue.
