The first one I can relate with.
The second one isn't that necessary and could be avoided if you enter the image through an external source (I once posted 20 images in one bug report because it was that big).

I doubt any of that will be added. Why?! Well because images require server space (that requires a more expensive hosting plan ), same thing goes for files, plus higher chance of getting viruses and worms. The picture per post cap is to decrease the load time of the pages ( especially from a mobile devices).
