1 MooMoo Milk for 30 exotic Safari Balls... Seems legit

I'm sorry I simply can't help but complain about the 500 buy-in at the safari zone. Does this mean that 30 balls worth of free pokemon is the same price as 2.5 pokeballs... really? I'd say 5000 is a little better, but then again I miss all the old arcade games that actually required effort for subtle rewards, I hope that's not just me lol

Well in pretty much all the games, there is an exploit to the safari game. You go to the location the target pokemon is, stand in one spot and lightly tap the d-pad so you only turn, not move. The game sees this as an action and pokemon will still appear, without using any steps.

So for example, if you are playing pokemon blue or red, and you want to find chansey, tauros, scyther/pinsir, this is the method to use.

Maybe you could handwave it by saying that Safari Balls are special reusable pokeballs, and once a day or so the rangers go and collect all the empty pokeballs lying about everywhere. Most players would only leave with 2-3 pokeballs filled right?

Agreed, unless you got really lucky and managed to find 30 Chanseys or other rare pokemon.

The problem with the safari zone is that it takes a very long time to actually catch the rare Pokemon in it. At least, in my opinion, it's meant to be a time intensive activity. As a result, I believe it's important to encourage players to repeat it many times by keeping the price down.

ok i get that, but then again there's always the elite 4 for cash. Either way all the damn 1% chance pokemon are priceless :dead:

Pokemon like Chansey aren't the best for battles, but the rarity and the wall they pose as, it is worth almost all the money you pay for. But pokemon like Scyther, Pinsir, Tauros etc. are better spent. But since Scyther can be found at the bug catching contest, for free.
