What do you mean by online?
If you mean your GameJolt save, then no, that is locked on the Kolben GameMode.
If you mean servers, then you can have a server set to use this GameMode and only allow people who are using the GameMode to join the server.

It apparently works, just not everywhere, at least on 0.53.3.
For example, places like the Union Cave, the Slowpoke Well, the route after Goldenrod, the route just before Ecruteak and the one after Ecruteak aren't randomized at all.
Also, so far, I didn't found a single Gen 3/4/5/6 Pokémon, but I did found an Ivysaur and the Johto Starters, so that could just be some bad luck.
Oh, and got a crash after finding a Lapras in the Ilex Forest which tried to use Water Gun.
Those aside, it's an awesome GameMode <3
