Is it possible to battle friends?

Well I've been roaming around with my friend using hamachi and I was wondering if it's possible to battle each other?

For the moment it is not possible to trade or battle with your friends however these features are planned to be added in the future.

in offline mode you can't trade
you can trade in online mode by going to the gtc in Goldenrod City
pvp is not in yet

"online" means that you have a gamejolt account and log into it in the game before playing
"offline" is just starting a game without logging in
gtc = global trade center, located in the Goldenrod Pokecenter, it allows you to trade with other player, but is only available for offline players.
Atm many other features have a higher priority than pvp
but not as many as have less priority
it should happen within 2013

GTC is the Global Trade Center in GoldenRod City located in the Pokémon Center. Im not Sure If you can co-op through the gamejolt save files or not but if you both have a gamejolt account you can trade amongst each other through the friend trade area which is the green beam coming down in the Poke Center. The Orange Beam is Global trade. Hope this was helpful and sorry if it was a bit confusing.

good thanks for your help i just have one last question for now me and my firend are playing with custom avatar so can we get ban for this if we go on gamjolt because i REALLY love this game its like a dream becoming reality and i dont want to get ban in fact im planning on donate because this an awesome project

You rank up through Gamejolt and every few ranks you get a new sprite.

our rule of thumb:
if it effect any thing that might be competative then we dont like it
however
a custom sprite in no way effects it and we are perfectly happy to support your desire
eventually we will support using a custom avatar for yourself(other players will still see your online one) and possibly allow custom avatars upon reaching a specific player rank

you guys are awesome thanks so much i just hope its gonna be soon because we wanted to fight each other after each badge but who care we are just gonna need to start another game anyway now i can have more than one game XD keep up the good work with this game and see you soon on other post probably
