Question about sprites/modes/name you prefer

Hello guys :3
I've been watching that the Engine called "Pokemon Essentials" has a GIF Format Images Support, and thats make possible to put the 3D Sprites of the Pokemon X/Y Game Sprites
So.. my question is: in the future, we will be able to use the X/Y Sprites in Pokemon3D by some way?

From what I understand, we will continue to use the current sprites until we think the time is right and decide to put in a whole heap of 3D models for all the pokemon. And that will probably happen for all future generations. Currently, we don't have a modeller because @Godeken stopped. So if you are good at 3D modelling, feel free to talk to nilz and confer with him on supporting the models.
