Can't reach servers?

Hey Guys.
Just downloaded the game the other day, and ever since I've been trying to play online, but I can't reach the server? not even the main one.
I've tryed downloading the server tool, works great when i run it, but my flatmate can't join it, it simple says it can't be reached, and vise versa.

My firewall doesn't seem to blog it, it barely recognizes i start up the game.

What's wrong?

The official server is there for testing purposes, it is just offline when you can't reach it. Since it's not required to play online, that's not really that big of an issue.
Also, for your own server, are you in the same network?
Can you show me a screenshot of the Join Server screen?

Yep, on the same network in the same apartment, sitting 2 inches from one another.

And I guess you are running the server on your friend's computer right now?

We are yes.
However if i run it. It comes out with the same result. I can join, but he can't.

Well, when the server is running on your friend's computer, then you need to enter his IP Address in the server list instead of 127.0.0.1 because that's a loopback IP that only refers to your own computer.
Since you are locally connected, you can get the IP Address of each others computer by opening the command prompt and typing "ipconfig/all". I guess it's the one that starts with "192."

Sorry for going all noob on you, but the command prompt in-game? or what are you referring to? because in the server command, typing in "ipconfig/all" only sends a message out on the server.

Oh, I mean Windows' command prompt (you can open it pressing the Windows key + R and type cmd and press Enter)
Once you got the IP Address of your own computer, the one hosting the server sets the IP Address in the server settings to that IP, and both add the server in the game with that IP Address.

EDIT: Btw, once you opened cmd and entered the ipconfig/all, a list of your network adapters should appear. Get the IP from that one that is connected to your local network. (It's the line saying "IPv4")

That's funny. For offline servers I get that. But I cannot reach any server. It keeps polling like the main one then I get the msg "Cannot reach server" like yours. I tried ipconfig/flush, no dice. I'm at the end of my rope any advice to fix it? It would be greatly appreciated. Also I tried like 4 other servers to make sure it was not the single server. I also deleted all of the servers except official and re-added the one server. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The main one is offline and will stay offline until the release of the next update.

Ik that also I'm referencing ANY SERVER(except local one) I try to access. I tried everything I can I need a new approach to this thus I came here. Again any advice for dealing with this is greatly appreciated.

All of them are also offline, maybe one that is occasionally online is Sviper's server, but it's 6am for him now, I don't think it is online right now.
