Not a bug Faint Attack and Ride not very effective?

During a pokemon battle against Ace Trainer Kelly, she sent out a Marill that my Faint Attack and Ride was not very effective against, those two attacks were used by my Persian (Nicknamed Nion).

So out of curiousity, I looked up Marill's in battle effect, Ability. Huge Power and Thick Fat. But None of those reduces the damage of Dark and Fighting type attacks, and I'm pretty sure Water isn't resistence against it. Is this a bug or is there some new Ability I'm not aware of?

well the fairy typing is new with gen 6....the site you were looking at was either about 6 months out of data...OR it was specifically using another gen data
