What is the hardest gaming boss you've encountered?

I've recently played through Kingdom Hearts II FM+, and I reached the point where I had to battle the Enigmatic Soldier, I got to say that boss is the hardest I've ever fought in any video game so far. This morning I finally beat the boss after countless tries.

Not only is all of his attacks 1 hit KO attacks unless you got the abilities to survive 1 combo and 1 killing blow, but he is also incredibly fast and have lots of HP & have really good defence. Sometimes he also stops you from using physical attacks, and you need to damage him with spells to break that seal. and finally when he has 33% hp left, he goes into some kind of berserk mode and makes the battle twice as hard.

So what is the hardest boss you've fought, and why?

I missed all of the secrets, but my favorite game for the N64 would be Super Mario RPG. I hope they make a 2nd one.

Metroid Prime is the hardest I remember. I don't play very many games that have boss fights anymore.

The hardest gaming 'boss' is actually not a boss - it's a regular level from Magic: the Gathering: Battleground. He starts with full mana, you have none, while he has a field full of creatures and 30 life more as well. The intended strategy is to use an enchantment for 4 mana which he can remove for 2, making this fight pretty much impossible since he can buff his creature's defense and summon one that increases his life.

Has everyone already forgot about Taboo from SSBB?

I haven't played that game in quite some time but he still remains the baddest boss I've ever faced.

It took every fiber of Strength in the most hard core videogame players ( Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon Trainer Red, Mario, Link, and Snake) to defeat him. I could never defeat him in hard mode T-T

Mine is definetly Oryx from "Realm of the mad god" He was the final boss and is super difficult to beat. You couldn't solo him if you had the best items and the ultimate levels. ;P

I did not have much hard time with that dude, even on very hard, took me 5 tries to take him down.

I have recorded when I did a try on Enigmatic Soldier, to my surprise, I managed to defeat him on the first try. Take into concideration that I have the best items & upgraded my stats quite a bit, so that's why it was so easy for me xD

It is a bit laggy from time to time, though.

I lost to that guy so much...and I was facing him alongside my brother, so you'd think two players would have an advantage...
Still too chicken to try and beat him on anything but normal

Wesker from Resident Evil. In the Nightmares extension somehow you can kill him idk how seems impossible when i only have 15 Hgun ammo. Its especially hard on the level you actually KILL him in Resident Evil 5. Although it isnt hard for the player, its hard for the character Chris. HE HAS TO PUNCH A FRICKING ROCK!!! WHO DOES THAT?!?!!?!?

As soon as i posted the last post i thought of a truly menacing Boss. Here is a clip of a level 95 Chaos against a level 100 Cloud. With my level 100 Cloud i have trouble beating Choas at level 50. So something like this is god-like.
