What do you mean by "Enable debug information"?

By pressing F3 in game you can see information such as current location, weather conditions, player rotation and more. That combined with knowing the location of the Hidden Grotto block you can quickly find your way there, almost as good as having a mini-map

It's not cheating! I'm just taking advantage of conveniently accessible game data

That's like saying it's not cheating to change the number of points on a scoreboard to your benefit.

Honestly, using notepad++ to search through a few files isn't really the same as editing npctrade to give 1 million points to get the highest score.

I don't think this is much different then checking the wiki for item locations and such, and I know that there are plenty of people who do that here. What I'm doing is just finding information that has yet to be posted on the wiki.

I'm at the Berry Vista Hidden Grotto right now, and currently it yields Ladyba, Corpish, Pineco, and Sewaddle.
If I was to hazard a guess, the rarity of these four go from Common to Rare would be: Ladyba, Corpish, Pineco, then Sewaddle.
