Evolve haunter locally?

Is there a way to evolve haunter locally? I play on offline mode because I started long before online mode existed. Is it possible to still trade with someone using my local save? If not are there any others ways to evolve my haunter?

No, you can only evolve haunter through trading on an online save

In your case, I would suggest something along the lines of temporarily editing the poke's data. Considering it's an offline save so there is no other way for you to evolve it and this would in no way harm others, I wouldn't call it cheating. Butttt, I'm not gonna decide that for you

It isn't cheating, offline saves are made for editing your saves. So this is a correct way of fixing this.
