Not a bug Infinitely Sturdy!

I came across this battling Koga. His Foretress has the sturdy ability, so a OHKO move like my Typhlosion's flamethrower won't down it in one turn. With the enhanced AI, however, Koga uses a full restore on his Foretress like the smart trainer he is. However, the full restore also seems to reset the poke's sturdy ability - thus when I try to use flamethrower again, its sturdy ability prevents fainting. This continues in a loop until I use a weak move then a strong move, or Koga switches out.

He only has 3 Full Restores, so you should only encounter this 3 times in a row.
And Sturdy works, when the HP is full and the Pokémon would faint. So I don't really see a bug here.

I assume sturdy should only apply once per battle, not as long as the HP is full.
