Not a bug 0.40 Another mystery egg

So I completed the mystery egg event back when we had to start over for online mode.
While playing with the recent update, I flew to Violet City and immediately got a call from Prof. Elm about how I can pick up the mystery egg. I went into the pokecenter and Elm's Aid was there. I didnt talk to him because I dont want another togepi.

I didnt get screenshots because I dont think you need a pic to imagine the Aid standing there

This is because the aid got triggered from the elm call and the elm call from you winning the first gym badge.
And since the script that got triggered didn't exist when you started the game, it activated now.
Not really a bug since this is kinda the result of the game evolving.
