I exited my game at Goldenrod City, Pokemart basment. When I went back on, this box blocked me from going out.

reload your save a few time(should be twice) and it will move out of your way

When you say reload, do you mean by returning to main menu and going back to save file, or closing the game and going back on?

going back to the main menu and hitting load should work but i am not sure.....
if it doesnt work you can always exit all the way out
make sure to save each time
