How do I add a texture pack?

It's the Emerald one and I'm new to this game so, some help would be really nice.

Go to your ContentPacks folder for the game. Once there open the rar file and open it with WinRaR or 7zip. Place the folder within that in the ContentPacks folder.

Someone else could probably explain it better than me.

By the way I think the Emerald Texture Pack might be outdated, so use caution, crashes may occur.

An outdated Texture Pack doesn't crash the game. If a TP is outdated, some textures will not be replaced, some others can be missplaced or just wrong.

Well......if you have a texture pack and we have literally made the texture sheet larger then yes it will crash....however we rarely do that so.....

Ok, texture pack CAN be dangerous, some times, like never, but they have the capacity to crash the game.

Actually I was waiting for another major update for update my texture pack, because I that way i could do all the work in one weekend, and then wait for another major update... But I suppose that my texture pack must be so outdated now, I'll try to update it as soon as I can

It's not the actual game, it's a Texture Pack. I'm pretty sure it's still within the Resources list, but not all textures are up to date I believe.
