best but not hardest....blue was definitely harder blue just didn't have much story to him Silver was always under leveled for me... Blue was harder(at least as champion)

Agreed, I like N tho...B&W(2) rivals in general. One was strange and was like nice silver through then there's anime guy (I named Poseidon ) most of the time there but stuborn as heck :\ Idk was different

I didn't really see N as a rival, more of the enemy boss under the control of his dragon-with-an-agenda.

You battle him at the start of the game and the end xD The only diffence between N and Blue are the generation and relationships. Blue friend N Enemy turn friend

I think Silver was the best rival, all of the other rivals I found as an annoyance.

Blue/Gary was champ (Gen1&3) or at least the last gym-leader (Gen2.) - so this whole discussion is redundant ^^

he also had the highest pokemon-level of any champ in his first-match (strongest=lvl.65(yellow))
