first thing you see in the pictures that the 3D models aren't reakky pixelated. Secondly, aif you are a fan of Pokemon(or especially the older generations) you should value that nostalgic style.

PS. You can turn on/off the 3D models in the options

Yes, but you can't go back to the way it used to be in the picture Nilllzz showed us. (The one with the pixels)
Because that is a whole different battle system.

Yes, but you can't go back to the way it used to be in the picture Nilllzz showed us. (The one with the pixels)
Because that is a whole different battle system.

The old battle system had some issues and it was easier to make a complete new system than fixing that older system. (I think was the reason for the change.)

Aye... I am not sure how that would really work because I don't think those older sprites are compatible with the newer system... I could be wrong, ofcourse.

The thing is that before, the battle system looked like an entire different part of the game. Now, the graphics are the same (with disabled 3D models which are just a gimmick) as in the overworld, the sprites are exactly the same. This is done with the thought in mind to bring the overworld gameplay closer to the battle gameplay by visually resembling each other.

hehe ok ok i just said my opinion xD i prefer he battle skin and pokmemon of version 0.23 but i can play with the news its not a problen. i just said xD the only problem is loopin text in some tariners and more u.u xD

That, and eliminating the many animation frames of the old models pretty much halved the size of this game.
