Pokémon Ranger
I found this bug some days ago, meaning that it exists before the current version, but I was always forgetting to post it
. Actually, it must have existed from the version when you implemented pokeballs appearing on the healing machine. When you go to the pokecenter and talk to the nurse to heal your pokes, while the nurse places your pokeballs in the machine, if you move your mouse, inbetween each pokeball is inserted the camera is freed and moves bit by bit, until the nurse says "Thank you for waiting", at which point the camera auto fixes itself. Now if, while moving the camera while the pokemon are placed in the machine, you also click the mouse multiple times the dialog is initiated again, resulting in a graphical and a dialog bug with the nurse starting a new dialog, with the pokeballs appearing on the machine and selecting the "NO" option on the second dialog makes your pokemon not healed even if the first dialog(the first "healing") is completed. I know my explanation is kinda complicated, I will post a few screnshoots and i hope the bug will become more understandable
.
Normal View:
Moving the camera while she places pokeballs on the machine:
Of course you can move the camera even higher
:
This photo should be clearer:
You can move the camera low, as well as high and a little bit sideways as well, when in free camera mode on. However the up and down can happen in both free camera mode on/and off.
Next the graphical/dialog bug screenshots (it also happens regardless camera mode, or first/third person view):
As you can see while she is healing my pokemon i click rapidly and this happens (even without initiating the camera bug if you click rapidly it will happen)
As you can see it happened at the moment she placed 3 of my pokes in the machine. If i was faster it could happen with 2 or if i was slower with 4 or 5.Selecting 'NO' causes the following sequence to happen:
First the goodbye dialog
Then the rest 3 balls are added and healing continues from the first dialog
then the dialog ends but no pokemon is actually healed.
If you click "YES" same thing happens(and also a second healing happens
) but this time your pokemon are healed :
The above glitch healing happens only if you click "YES". Notice how places 1 and 2 are empty and only 3 through six contain pokeballs. That is because when i initiated the dialog glitch in this pic she put only the first 2 pokeballs in the machine the same way she put 3 in the fifth pic(view the last attached pic to understand what I mean)
