the game lags in every big area I go, in the small areas it works perfectly, I have all graphic options to the minimum. I remember that in 2.1 version ( or 2.4 I can't remember ) there wasn't this problem could you fix this before of everything else please????

I don't think there were large areas in 2.1

Your computer is probably just slow. Some of the large maps have even been modified to reduce lag, so this is the "fixed" version.

my graphics settings are as low as possible, and since this is a free game and therefore MUST also be played also on a slow computer I consider it as a bug. It didn't lag in Violet City before some updates (I can't remember what update).

Can you rephrase that? I can't understand what you're trying to say.

Sorry I'm italian ahahah XD I'll retray XD 1) my graphics settings are as low as possible. 2) this is a free game, so every computer must be able to execute the game. Also slow ones. If they don't, I consider lag a bug. 3) It didn't lag in Violet City before some updates (I can't remember what update). I think that you could dissect some big maps and also decrease the intensity of the texture in the caves. (caves are a lag nightmare)

The engine of this game is made by me, entirely, with the help of the XNA framework.
This means that the game's performance can vary between PCs based on their CPU, GPU, RAM, GPU, etc. On my new PC, the game runs a bit worse than on my old one, but all parts are definitely improved. Most advanced engines (like Unity and so on) have preset settings for different machine setups, so they can change some stuff around to get the best performance.
This engine however is very basic and doesn't support those features. Though, when I am using high-normal graphics settings, it runs at 60FPS almost everywhere in the game.

Oh yeah, and your statement "this is a free game, so every computer must be able to execute the game" is not true. The game's price and its technical requirements are not connected in any way. There are games made by huge publishers that can run on a 2001 XP machine. I even think that AAA games made my large companies are even more set to work on all types of computers since its their job to make the game and they have more people to program. They also mostly use an engine for their games.

So, in conclusion, this is not a bug. I can't really help you but tell you to keep the graphics settings as low as possible and close other background programs and look for GPU driver updates.
