Duplicate Black Screen During Battle

Hi at the beginning of the game no matter which pokemon i'm using the game kind of bugs out and the screen goes black at the start of the battle. I can battle normally by just using the first attack and sometimes i can see flashes of the battle, but other than those rare flashes, the screen is black. I can command normally if i memorize where all the icons/buttons are. Wondering if this can be fixed.

Never happened to me. Maybe it happens to some people cause of the graphics they re using? Try enable/disable lightning with f4 or play with other graphics settings

It has nothing to do with graphics, it is a result of attempting to skip dialogue too fast at the start of a battle.

Yeah I read your post but I always click the dialogue like a maniac during battles and never had the issue. Well I don t know myself just made a suggestion

You have to be skipping VERY fast to trigger the bug; I still get it every once in a while.

I'm really considering now that speed isn't a factor, it's just a frame-perfect bug. Rapidly skipping just increases the chance of hitting it on the frame.

Yeah that s why I mentioned graphics. Maybe at lower graphics, not fancy for example the fps will be higher and the problem won t happen anymore.
