Fixed 0.38 Stuck at Pokemon league

I'm playing online (so I have no ability to edit game code to modify my location) and I decided to go up against the Elite Four a second time. I battled Will and upon victory the doors didn't open. Unfortunately, I instinctively save my game after each battle. So, now I'm stuck. Any way to fix this?

Force update the game and talk to Will again.
