I was busy fighting Brooke on route 35. Used my Gastly and put a curse on her Pikachu. Switched out with Flaffy so that Gastly could get some exp. The curse then killed Pikachu, however my flaffy still used tackle afterwards. I tried to recreate this:
The Curse got the Pikachu's HP to zero...
and then...
There was no "Pikachu fainted" message or anything like that. So i decided to do this for a third time to just beat her with Flaffy using tackle the whole time. And true as s#1t:
