Hi, erm, I'm having problems with this game. whenever I press continue game or load game on the menu my game crashes. It says the StartIndex cannot be less than zero. I am using version pokemon 3d version 3.7. My friend showed me this save tool to check for corrupted data so I did it and these are the following files that are corrupted: Apricorns.dat, Berries.dat, Items.dat, Options.dat. I was just wondering if the crash I'm having and the corrupted data I have anything to do with each other and how to fix it.

But to fix this, delete the Pokemon folder (make a backup of any saves you have) and open the launcher. Ot should be fixed, if not, I will speak to someone else.

when i delete the pokemon folder the launcher needs to be re-updated to version 0.37 so i update it and then the pokemon file re appears again

your files are likely corrupted
I would suggest playing with an online save to ensure no corruptions, however you are free to edit your offline save(and thus fix it)
the biggest issue is if you tried to open one of those files in microsoft word or a similar program and saved it, it would be formatted by word and contain weird symbols, etc
if this is the problem simply open it in word again, copy the contents, close word, open the file in notepad or similar, and replace the contents with what you copied
