I can't gett hamachi to work

I was trying to connect with my friend via hamachi and my friend could not join. Do we need to both have a gamejolt account for it to work or is it ok with the offline play.

It only works online

Also, use the IP provided to you from your hamachi up next to the power button.

when I give her the Ip for the server and she types it in, we wait 30 sec and it says she cant connect (we both have hamachi and she is part of the network)

do we need to be past a certain part in the story for it to work? we basically just started and have walked around our room for a bit... its a stupid question but could that be why?

no, where you're at in the stroy doesn't matter (at least it shouldn't)

That problem is cuz of Hamachi. Did you use the proper IP ? Try with some other program like http://www.remobo.com/,

we are connected to the same wifi network, could that be why its not working

one of your firewalls or security porgrams may be blocking other users from sharing networks, may wanna check that and either turn it off for the amount of time using it or just go into advanced properties and select it individually as exempt

if you are connected to the same network you can do it already
hamachi is an interface to be connected to a LAN with people who are most definately not in your "Local Area"
