if u walk around alot with ur pokemon he will evolve much lower though so u should really take levels into account.
and for helping u level faster just continue with the story so u can get to e4 leveling is alot faster with them and i believe my pokemon with exp share got freindship faster for it counting as them being used in a e4 battle even though they didnt actively participate.

You need to walk more with the poke, I grind for friendship while I breed pokes.

Vitamins is a good way to boost the friendship, too.

Friendship lvling works. Unless you walk a lot they usually evolve around lvl 46 to 50.
