HM 09 Ride?

So I found out that bikes doesn't exist anymore and is replaced by ride...

Problem is none of my pokemon are able to learn it and pokemons I can find around the city are also unable to learn it, so can someone teach me where and how to get a pokemon which can learn it asap?
This is very frustrating so pardon my straightforwardness.

you can ask someone to trade you a pokemon that can learn ride

Onix is rideable, I use a Onix with Ride, Headbutt, Strength and Rock Smash

u can also see some of the ride able pokemon just by looking in the shop at the pokemon he has in the back.

Thanks for the replies, I have went back to union cave to catch me a onyx to ride. @Darkfire, my quilava is unable to learn ride though :|

Edit: Now there's another problem... how do I activate ride?

When you go to check the summary of a Pokemon, ride is like two words below it. You can press it to ride

Hmm I am sorry but I fiddled around with the menu but still can't really find the ride? Or is there only certain places where the option will pop up? The image below shows my onix with ride ...

Also, is there a way to bind ride to a 'select' key, Similar to bikes in the other pokemon versions?

Did you get the badge from Whitney yet? If not, you can't use ride outside of battle. And I don't believe you can bind ride to "select" or anything

the fully evolved form of the starters are rideable. there are a few others that they need to be evolved to ride. No flying on pidgey weirdness with ride
