This bug has been around for some time. I'm not sure if it can only be seen client-side or what...Here are some screenshots and an explanation.
First, I walked around until I had to turn, the follower Pokémon is supposed to do the same, but before he turns too, I press ESC, bringing the Game Menu. The Pokémon keeps walking on the direction he was, ignoring anything he couldn't pass.
Now, when I press ESC again, the menu goes away, and the Pokémon is gone because he went through the wall.
There he is, after some time walking, he keeps trying to follow the trainer even at distance. Ps: Changing maps will make the Pokémon to go back to it's position.
He keeps trying.
If I let him reach me, everything goes normal.
Only happens on co-op, because without it...the game just pauses totally when you press ESC.
