We just get them because they are limited edition of those pokémons
so when the game get to later versions, we will have our ultra-rare special edition competition pokémon
(But i have an shiny scizor anyways...)

But i would sell it for a high price for someone who never had the chance to participate in the comps
And it does have some very good stats
(Thats what i already did with my cloyster, i won a cloyster some time ago in the older comp)
