The one I moderate is an economy/survival server, basically called the main server, but in general it's more of a gaming community with other minecraft servers and other gaming servers.

Ah, I see. :) Hunger Games is fun to try out sometimes, though. (Mainstream or not, this stuff is fun. but may be quite harsh to keep the server up.)

We had a hunger games server, but it died fairly quickly, so the owner threw it out to make room for newer servers without wasting money.

That's not a problem. I rarely play either.... Just waiting for updates and bug fixes and stuff. :)
